If you’re a psychology student or recent graduate in Pakistan, chances are you’ve heard this before:
“You need experience to get experience.”
You’ve completed semesters of coursework, aced your exams, and maybe even written a few research papers — yet when it comes to working with real clients, everything feels… different.
You’re not alone.
Thousands of psychology students across the country share this same struggle:
And that’s exactly why we created this program.
In psychology, learning doesn’t stop at theory — in fact, that’s where it begins.
Field experience helps you:
A classroom may teach you definitions.
But the field teaches you how to think like a therapist.
Unfortunately, most traditional internships lack structure, supervision, and educational feedback. That’s where PSYCHPAK steps in with its Field Placement & Online Supervision Program — curated by professionals, designed for students, and backed by real mental health organizations.
Don’t worry, PSYCHPAK presents a real-world gateway to your career in behavior therapy.
In Pakistan, psychology students often graduate with a strong theoretical foundation but struggle to find structured, practical training that prepares them for the realities of working with children with autism and developmental challenges. Understanding this gap, PSYCHPAK has created a dedicated Behavior Therapy Placement Program—a carefully designed initiative that blends academic relevance, hands-on clinical exposure, and ongoing mentorship. Whether you’re a psychology student exploring your options, a fresh graduate seeking supervised hours, or someone passionate about the field of special education and behavior modification, this program is tailored for you.
Participants will receive structured training in Behavior Therapy and child-specific intervention approaches, including individualized behavior plans, reinforcement strategies, and data recording protocols. Delivered in collaboration with reputable child development centers, the program bridges academia and practice through flexible modules and expert-led sessions. Best of all, it’s locally contextualized to prepare you for real work environments across Pakistan.
With a choice between online theoretical training only and the complete hybrid track (which includes both online modules and hands-on clinical placement), PSYCHPAK gives you the freedom to learn your way—while ensuring quality, accountability, and growth. You’re not just observing—you’re practicing, learning, and becoming a part of a community that’s shaping the future of child behavior therapy in Pakistan.
Our Online Learning Module is thoughtfully crafted to build your foundational knowledge in behavior therapy and applied psychology with a special focus on children with neurodevelopmental conditions. Spread across 12 compact yet immersive lectures over 6 weeks, this module ensures that you’re not just learning theory—you’re understanding how to apply it in real clinical settings.
Each lecture is designed to unpack key psychological frameworks, intervention strategies, and real-life case examples related to childhood behavior challenges. You’ll explore:
The insights of behavior therapy, including the principles that drive behavioral change
How to assess and interpret problematic behaviors in terms of their function
Evidence-based techniques to encourage positive behaviors and reduce maladaptive ones
Practical strategies to structure behavior using reinforcement models, gradual goal shaping, and tailored response plans
Guided insight into working with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, and Learning Disorders, with a special emphasis on ethical intervention
The role of social learning and how behavior is influenced by modeling, environment, and expectation
Foundational tools like Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs), token systems, and structured behavior charts
All participants will have access to interactive resources like case study templates, goal setting sheets, reinforcement planning tools, and exclusive material via the PSYCHPAK Open Resource Liby.
By the end of this phase, you’ll have the theoretical and conceptual clarity to step confidently into hands-on practice—or to independently manage cases in applied settings with guidance.

— Ms. Shumaila Pervaiz
Building on your online foundation, the second phase of our program is a 2.5-month immersive clinical placement designed to transition you from theory to practice. This is where you experience the real pulse of behavior therapy—working directly with professionals, children, and multidisciplinary teams in the field.
Participants will be placed at specialized centers catering to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental needs, where they will:
Observe and gradually participate in structured therapy sessions under supervision
Assist in behavior monitoring, skill-building routines, and reinforcement delivery in real-time
Engage in session planning, implementation, and post-session reflections with supervisors
Learn ethical practice, confidentiality handling, and collaborative work of team (multiple therapists/OT/SP/BT) for the progress of a child
Gain exposure to IEP execution, communication systems (e.g., PECS), and behavior tracking tools used in top-tier centers
This phase is supervised by both your field mentor and a dedicated internal PSYCHPAK supervisor, ensuring guided learning and consistent progress tracking. You’ll be encouraged to submit short reflective logs, track child progress indicators, and even contribute to behavior plans under supervision.
Placements are structured to offer incremental responsibility—starting from observation, moving to assistance, and progressing (where applicable) to partially leading guided interventions. You’ll also have access to monthly case discussion circles with your batch and supervisor, fostering peer-based learning.
By the end of this phase, you won’t just understand behavior therapy—you’ll have practiced it, reflected on it, and evolved through it.
We’ve partnered with some of the most well-known special education and therapy centers in Lahore. Each center offers a safe, ethical, and learning-conducive environment with trained mentors. Students will be paired according to availability and area convenience.
Your journey doesn’t end with the last lecture or final day at the placement site—it transforms into your first step toward professional practice. To ensure that our graduates are not only trained but also ready for the field, PSYCHPAK has introduced a final evaluation for those who successfully complete the full program.
At the end of your training, you will go through a carefully designed three-part evaluation:
PSYCHPAK believes in celebrating talent with opportunity. Our Top 3 ranked students—based on cumulative scores—will receive direct job recommendations to our affiliated centers. It’s more than a certificate; it’s your bridge to your first professional milestone.
